Word to the Wise was founded by Jo McErvale; a professional communicator with more than two decades' experience in purposeful and passionate writing, media production and project management.

A qualified journalist, Jo has written for The Age newspaper in Melbourne and worked in broadcast production for ABC Television News and Current Affairs.

Since 2012, she has supported architects and built environment professionals, industry bodies and landscape and environmental organisations to articulate their core values, secure industry awards and grow their market share via targeted communications.

Jo's facilitative, values-led approach, eye for a story and compelling communications style builds quick rapport with teams to achieve communications clarity. Tackling problems with collaborative methods, Word to the Wise projects always begin with the development of a clear brief and a roadmap for achieving mutually agreed goals.
